Best car shop in town thanks to government grants
I decided to write this text in hope that other people will do the same as I did and apply for a government grant for small businesses. First of all, I am not what you would call a man of letters, I like to consider myself more of a salt of the earth type of a guy, but I simply had to share my experience with the general public in hope that others will do as I did and turn their lives around with the help of government grants.
I used to work for GM my whole life. I got a job at their factory near my hometown as soon as I got out of high school and I made a living like thousands of Americans, working hard from 9 to 5, happy that I can make my own living. However, as the economy went in the dumps several years ago, me and a bunch of other people from the factory got laid off. I have struggled for months to try and get a new job, without any luck.
And then, my wife, God bless her, found out about these government grants online, namely the government grants for small businesses. She knew that it was always my dream to open up a small car shop in my hometown and help my own people with their cars. So, I gathered all the things I needed to apply, sent my papers and in a few months I got approved for a government grant that was supposed to help me start my business. I got the rest of the money I needed from my folks and several friends and before you knew it, Steve’s Car Shop was opened for business.
Since then, it has grown into the best car shop not only in our town, but in the whole zipcode. And the best thing about it all is that I never have to give a dime back from what I got from the government. This is why I wanted to share my experience as it really turned my life around, for the better.
